Our hardback book is written by NEC Society's founder/executive director, Jennifer Canvasser, after she lost her little one, Micah, to necrotizing enterocolitis. The book's illustrations are by Micah's grandmother, Leslie Napolitano.
About the book
The air was soft, and our hearts were free. Our darling Little One, Micah, was in our arms. Life was blissful. Then everything changed. Micah became unwell. It all happened so fast. Suddenly, our Little One was gone. Forever Our Little One is inspired by a family's journey to find peace. This story is for families and loved ones navigating the tragic loss of their own little ones.
